Got approval so this is an official trip, so some details have changed if you saw the email.
The plan is to kayak across to Governor's island, and back along the shore, and do some rescue practices. If there are blue flag conditions, we will instead paddle within the yellow line area, to get some windy practice in a closer to shore area. We may also do a shorter route if bad weather might hit before we'd get back.
The trip will be canceled if the blue-green algae hasn't cleared up/memorial swim area is closed due to it.
You need at least a SKO rating.
Bring plenty of water and some snacks.
