Event Information

Description

This is a flexible time slot to work on kayak skills in the pier area before the meeting. Show up for all or just part of the time window: we'll be using the standard boat check-out system, so make sure you sign your boat in & out using the sheet in the boathouse and follow the check-out rules posted in the cage (ie you need a kayak lake lesson or R1 rating for whitewater kayaks or an SK0 rating for sea kayaks).

I'll be around to help teach rolling in either sea kayaks or whitewater kayaks, or we can work on advanced rescues such as scoop and hand-of-god rescues, as well as towing techniques. Feel free to practice on your own too!
