Event Information

Description

The North unit of Cherokee Marsh has ungroomed ski trails and most importantly snowshoeing!!!  It’s about 20-30 minutes north east of campus.

The North unit is along the Yahara River and has two conical mounds. Hopefully we’ll see some birds.
Meet me by Outdoor Rental at 1pm.

No snowshoeing experience or ratings necessary to go on this trip.
We’ll get club snowshoes and briefly talk about the type of snowshoes the club has.

Please dress accordingly. Hats, gloves, warm layers, and boots you can walk in and are warm. We will be out at least an hour and it might be snowing.
Bring something to drink if you would like.  $1 for gas. There are no fees at the North unit to worry about.

Let me know if you can drive and we can open the trip to more people.
