Candlelight Hike to Picnic Point - Winter Carnival

Update Feb 2nd: Ice conditions are stable, but given the lack of snow cover, this event will proceed as a candlelight walk out to the campfire at Picnic Point. 

Winter Carnival - Stay Active With An Evening Hike Out To Picnic Point And Warm Up At The Bonfire!

Hoofer Outing Club members invite you to join them to snowshoe, cross-country ski or hike out to Picnic Point to enjoy the view and camaraderie around a campfire. We'll have the fire going between 5pm - 8pm, along with s'mores and cocoa. This event is open to the public, so invite your friends! 

Outing Club members will help fit and check out snowshoes and cross country skis and boots as long as they last. Come to the Mendota Lodge in Memorial Union. Or, bring your own winter trekking gear or bike. If you have a headlamp, we highly recommend bringing it along! The path will be lit by candles.
