Sylvania Canoe Trip Waitlist

HEY:

Is water wet!? Do you enjoy being in a canoe!? Come find the answers to these pressing existential queries with us in the beautiful Sylvania Wilderness.

WHAT / WHERE / WHEN:

Sylvania Wilderness is a protected wilderness area in da UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) where da magic happens. We will be canoeing and portaging throughout the wilderness area and hopefully see the tail end of the fall colors. We will leave from the Memorial Union on Friday afternoon and return to the Memorial Union on Sunday afternoon / evening. 

WHO:
Anyone that has a Canoe Lake Lesson and Swim Test. If you don’t have one or both, sign up anyway and we’ll find you an opportunity to get it before we go out.

COST:

The anticipated cost of this trip is $70 to cover the cost of food and gas.

Payment will be paid on a later date.

Bring money for food on the road for Friday and Sunday.

DETAILS:

We will have a pre-trip meeting Tuesday October 15th directly after the general meeting to go over packing and other trip logistics.

Shortly after you sign up, we will send out an email with important gear lists, and a form to collect more information from you.
