Event Information

Description

Ice Age Trail Building near Cross Plains

Saturday, March 16th, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

We will be cutting and burning invasive brush to prepare the way for new tread construction to follow in the warmer months. We’ll use fire, handsaws, loppers and herbicide. You’ll learn from local experts and have a hand in revealing a heretofore unseen story of continental proportions that will, with your help, soon be a new signature section of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.

All Abilities and Talents Welcome

Hands-on training provided by certified volunteer crew leaders.

In addition to signing up on the Hoofer Outing Club website, please register on the Ice Age Trail website

https://www.iceagetrail.org/event/dane-county-trail-corridor-clearing-2/

We will meet at the Park Street Circle(the end of Park Street) next to the Memorial Union.
