What: Intermediate Sea Kayak Trip (SK1 required)
Where to Where: Hoofer Boat House to the Governor's Island, up the Yahara River. About 10 to 15 miles of paddling total.
When: 9am to 3pm Saturday October 3rd. The timing estimation is generous.
Why: Because you guys have been working so hard to get those kayak ratings, its time to do a trip taking advantage of the great geographic features around Madison that don't require driving! Plus, I prefer paddling in the fall when its not as hot.
What to bring: Bag Lunch, 1 to 2 L of Water, rain jacket, change of clothes, sun screen, hat/sun glasses (if its sunny I highly suggest these!) and sense of adventure.
