Dear Hoofers,
Thanks to the hard work of a number of HOC members, we now have eight updated and stocked first aid kits (or at least close to it!). On Monday, September 21, we will be holding a brief inservice on the kits. This event will be primarily directed towards trip leaders and instructors, ideally those who already have basic BLS/WFA/WFR or other comparable training. We will dig through the kits, gain some familiarity with the contents, and share tips on how to use them. I'm hoping it should take no longer than 1 hour all together.
Please note that that this is not a certification class! Our main goal is to give leaders an idea of the tools you are carrying in your kits, so that you can be ready to use them when the time comes.
