We are doing a super chill work trip up to Hooferland. If you've never been, Hooferland is an awesome parcel of land up in the middle of nowhere, owned by HOC. If you ever do a multi-day trip up north, you will likely stay there. So give back to the club and help out! We will operate not-so-heavy machinery, build a few more campsites, play lots of cribbage, eat food, enjoy campfires, and maybe a river trip?!
If you can drive or carry boats let me know!! (alliwenman@gmail.com) We are limited by car space. Also, sign up for the waiting list because as soon as someone offers up their car, you'll be on the trip. Or if your car can carry bikes, let me know and let's do that. Or just hiking is good. Hooferland is your oyster and the area is beautiful...
FOOD: We will bring coolers and stoves. Please bring your own grub! Or better yet, get in touch with someone else who is signed up and let's do family dinners.
COST: Gas. You'll pay your driver, cost will be determined on the trip. ~$20
Camping-the club has a couple tents you are welcome to use, we can set you up with one.
More info (times, directions, whether or not a river trip will actually be an option) will be sent out when departure comes closer
