- Description
- Canoe (or sea kayak on Robert;s trip) the Wisconsin river, from Prairie du Sac to Ferry Bluff, thru fine rural scenery, perhaps stopping to enjoy the relatively clean and cool water. We can hike up Ferry Bluff for a awesome view much the same as when Blackhawk fled a murderous militia in 1832. Canoe lake rating and swim test required. Bring lunch and lots of water. Trip limited by boat carrying capacity. If you can drive and carry a canoe or kayak, please note below or email me, and we can expand the trip. If you can't make the trip, be sure to remove your name at least a full day in advance so others can come. If you want to work on getting a R1-OC rating in canoe by playing in the rapids below the dam, let me know.
