Event Information

Description
What better way to spend a late summer afternoon than playing around in a kayak? After I conclude a rolling lesson on Saturday, July 25, I plan to hang around for another hour just to practice some whitewater skills---rolling, playboating, strokes, balance, edging, carving, and bracing.  I'll be happy to coach and provide some informal instruction to anyone interested.

For this session you just need to have taken a lake lesson and passed the swim test. Grab a boat, gear up and meet me on the water.

There are some river trips starting to happen and there will be more as we wrap up summer and ease into fall. Now is a great time to practice key skills so you will be better prepared for the rapids and be in better control on the river.

Please sign up if you are interested, but also feel free to drop in if you just decide at the last moment on Saturday that you'd really rather be in a kayak back of the Union than anything else you might be doing.
