Event Information

Description
I’m going to teach another SK1 class today, July 22nd at 5:00 PM.
This is the class that is an alternate to getting an SK1 in place or addition to going to Sac.  I also highly encourage going to Sac anyway.   We will learn things like edging a boat, learning to brace as well as the paddle float re-entry, and many more things.
To take this class you must have done these 3 things:   The Lake Lesson and learn the wet exit.   Passed the swim test.   The SK0 class and learn the T-Rescue.   If you’ve done these 3 things, you can sign up for this class.   What you’ll need:   Water, the class will last about 3 hours. Dry clothes for after class, you will wet exit and swim. Weather appropriate clothing for on the water.   The class will be beginning at 9:00 Saturday.  You should be familiar with picking out a sea kayak and its gear.  Please start to do that as you arrive.  I’ll be there to help of course.  See you on the water!
