- Description

If you are interested in becoming a Quietwater
leader (leading canoe trips on non-white water either for a day or on overnight
ventures) you need the following:
-A Canoe Lake Rating
-An R1-OC rating or above
-A swim test
-To have participated in at least one Hoofer water trip
-To take a short quiz based on the Water Safety Code (take home! open book!)
-To hang out with the Water Safety Chair and review the quiz and The Code
This evening, we will host a discussion of the quiz and The Code. Meet at the Hoofer boathouse and come prepared to talk water safety and trip leading!
