This weekend there will be recreational releases on the Wausau whitewater course. I'll be leading a trip on Saturday only; Ned and Tricia are leading Sunday's edition and may also be there Saturday.
You should have an R3p paddler rating although R2s with a reasonably reliable combat roll may participate. We'll meet at the boathouse at 7:30 to load boats and gear. There is a fee to run the course (~$15) and you'll need to bring gas money for the drive (~$15). Also bring a lunch and water (you may be able to buy lunch at the course; there is a foot cart or 2, but they aren't always open).
The course is open from 10-4. We should be back to Madison by 6:30 or so.
