The lake lesson is your first chance to try paddling in the club in a kayak. We go through the basics strokes and maneuvers and tell you a lot about the boats. In order to use our boats on the lake and know where you can use kayaks you use complete this rating. In addition to the lake
lesson you will also need to have completed a swim test which can be done after this lake lesson. We will also go through the rules and procedures we have to ensure the safe use of kayaks on the lake. To ensure maximium enjoyment on the water please try NOT to wear cotton clothing. Polyester is a far warmer clothing and holds less water. - Event Type
