Virtual Cribbage Tournament (sign up before January 1)

~ Announcing the HOC Virtual Cribbage Tournament ~ 

Please join us for a fun social event virtually, from wherever you are in January!

No need to sign up on Rechub. 

INFO: 

• Games will take place online, unless your group makes arrangements to meet in person (which you are welcome to do). Games will be played within a Zoom or Teams meeting, with a virtual card table: I recommend https://playingcards.io/ 
• If you haven't leaned cribbage yet, you will be paired with a teammate who can help you learn!  Generally, we hope to have enough people to play in teams of two for the whole tournament. 
• Rules: https://playingcards.io/game/cribbage  (please play to 121 points) 
• After each round, you will report both teams' score totals 
• There may be special prizes for winning and for skunking your opponents!   
• Join the cribbage-tourney channel on the Outing Club Discord to keep up with the latest updates and share your memorable moments! 

Indicate when you sign up if there is a period wherer you will be unavailable; we will try to work around that (some teams may skip second or third round). 

SCHEDULE: 

• Dec 31, 2024: Signups close. 
• Jan 2, 2025: Teams and first round games announced. 
• Jan 8: First round games must be completed. 
• Jan 9: Second round game information available. 
• Jan 15: Second round games must be concluded. 
• Jan 16: Third round game information available. 
• Jan 20: Third round games must be concluded. 
• Jan 21: Finale game on Tuesday evening after the general meeting.
