4th Annual Canoe Race

The 4th Annual Hoofer Outing Club Canoe Race is almost here! 

Sign up with a partner or on your own, or find a race partner on the day of the race. The race route will be the same as the last three years: ~3 miles from the terrace, around and across picnic point with a short portage and back again. This is not an easy route so please make sure you are confident in paddling 3 miles in under an hour. We will be doing a mass start promptly at 5:45PM. Please show up early so that you can get your boat, pfd, and paddle ready for the race on time!

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to come out and cheer on your team or be at the tip of picnic point. 

A canoe orientation is required for this event. If you sign up without the rating, you will be removed from the event. 

We also need two people to help officiate the race! Let me know if you are available to help with this. 

Winners will receive MAJOR SUPER AWESOME BRAGGING RIGHTS UNTIL THE END OF TIME... hard to pass that one up. Also a trophy if we can find it.
