Devils Lake Fall Colors Bikepacking/Camping

We'll be biking up to Devil's Lake and spending the night!

This trip is meant to be an easy way to get into bikepacking, as we will also have a support vehicle driving up carrying gear and offering the opportunity for people to come on the trip, even if they aren't up to biking the whole way. Speaking of biking the whole way, it's about a 42 mile bike ride meaning if you are planning on riding up with the cool kids it will be about a 4 hour ride. In the spirit of bikepacking we will attempt to carry as much of our gear on our bikes with us!

We will be using Hoofer's bikes, so trip participation is somewhat limited by this but if you have a bike you would feel comfortable riding 40 miles, let me know and you'll be able to come even if the trip is full!

Trip Itinerary:

• Pack vehicle and bikes Friday evening
• Depart by 9:30AM Saturday morning
• Spend the night at Devil's Lake
• Make some awesomesauce breakfast
• Return Sunday Afternoon

Trip Cost:

• The trip cost will be $15 per person, and will include lunch/snacks for the trip up Saturday, dinner Saturday, and breakfast Sunday, gas for the support vehicle, and campsite fees.
