Canoeing and Bonfire with S'mores at Picnic Point

Hey Hoofers!

Looking for a fun way to get outside and socialize with other Hoofers on the only day this week where it isn't supposed to rain? Then this is the event for you!

We will be canoeing/sea kayaking out to picnic point under the moonlight and then building a small campfire and roasting s'mores. 

For those who have the proper ratings, we will be meeting at the Memorial Union Boathouse at 7PM and then canoeing out to Picnic Point. For everyone else, feel free to meet us out at Campfire ring #3 starting at around 7:30. We will hang out for about an hour to an hour and a half while eating s'mores and then disperse around 9PM.

In order to canoe/kayak out to picnic point, you will need to have at least a Canoe Lake Lesson or an SK0. If you do not have either of these ratings, you are still welcome to come by walking or taking the bus out to picnic point and just meeting us there. Non-members are also welcome to come on this trip so if you have friends that are thinking about joining, they can come and talk to current members.

Please wear clothing that is appropriate for being on the water, a headlamp or a flashlight, and a couple dollars to chip in for the s'mores supplies.
