If you've completed the basic kayak lake lesson and passed the swim test, here is your chance to practice and expand on those skills! The SK0 lesson is your introduction to our sea kayaking fleet and will allow you to check them out on Lake Mendota. This also opens the doorway to touring Wisconsin's plethora of lakes and riverways. Beyond learning about the boats themselves, the lesson will focus on refining your forward stroke and teach you how to get back in your kayak with the help of a friend!
Be prepared to get wet and have a swimsuit, closed-toe water shoes, water, and towel and change of clothes. Instructors are Tom St Germaine and Carl Zimm. Meet by the Outing Club sea kayaks at the Memorial Union boathouse. - Event Type
