Kayak Lake Lesson

Welcome to kayaking with the outing club!  Whether you've grown up with a paddle in hand or have never been in a boat before this is the place to start!  We'll talk about the sea kayaking and whitewater kayaking opportunities that await you, look through our new boathouse, and get on the water to build basic paddling skills.  Dress appropriately for being in and out of the water for two hours. This may mean wearing a (non-cotton) shirt over your swimsuit. Make sure to bring a swimsuit, water-appropriate shoes, and a change of clothes as we will be getting wet.  

We're always looking for assistants to help instruct too, so even if you just finished your first lake lesson come help instruct!  See everyone at the Memorial Union boathouse.
