Land Safety Board Meeting

Hey everyone, we will be having a Land Safety Board meeting Tuesday, April 10th from 7:30 to 9:30pm, after the general meeting.

All members are welcome to attend, although only those qualified to vote, as outlined by the Land Safety Code and Backpacking Rating System, may. All leaders involved on land-based trips are encouraged to attend. Leaders of trips that trained leaders must be their to vouch and present leaders beng voted in to the system.

All potentially new leaders must be e-mailed to Mary Cretney (mcretney@wisc.edu), along with the recommended rating, which will be voted on.

Briefly, our agenda is as follows:

1) Vote on updates to Backpacking Rating System.

2) Vote in new club leaders

3) Time permitting, address additional topics (position vacancies, leadership opportunities, upcoming trips, further rating systems concerns & updates)
