It is getting to be that time where we take inventory of our whitewater gear; the first step in the gear repair process, so to speak. I have scheduled a gear assessment/cataloguing of repair needs activity on 12/2 from 3:30pm-6pm on the coming weekend. I don't think it will take anywhere near 3.5 hours, but I over scheduled just in case. If a significant portion of people can't make it, then I am flexible on dates, and we can move it to Sunday, or at a later point in the week. If you guys are looking for a way to spend a Saturday afternoon, feel free to come down and join me! Woohoo! We can meet in the Mendota Lodge, then head into the gear shed. I will bring snacks!

Hoofers is unique as a club to have whitewater boats and gear available for member use. This equipment gets a lot of hard use---resulting in wear and tear. If you are a club paddler, you have a responsibility to help keep this gear in paddle-ready condition. Please come help with this inventory---you'll not only help make sure that our boats and gear are ready for next year's trips, but also you'll learn about care and maintenance of whitewater kayaks and gear.
