Paddling Instructors Clinic

Passionate about paddling? Looking to share your skills? Interested in learning how to teach paddling? Join a group of fellow paddling enthusiasts for an afternoon of learning instructional skills for paddling. 

I hope that we'll have 2 or even 3 parallel sessions---one for whitewater skills (lake lesson and beyond), one for canoeing, and one for sea kayaking. The session I'll be leading will be for whitewater skills. If you'd like to lead a similar session for canoeing or sea kayaking, you're most welcome to announce and post a separate sign-up. We might want to coordinate them so members could participate in multiple sessions.

For this clinic on WW skills you should be have an R2 paddler rating. We'll start with the basic skills we teach in the kayak lake lesson and then work on some more intermediate skills, like rolling and bracing. I'd like to have other existing instructors sign-up and assist, too. We all can learn from each other---this will be very interactive.
