Evening Hike at Lake Kegonsa State Park

Lake Kegonsa State Park is about 17 miles from the Memorial Union. It is located on Lake Kegonsa. Lake Kegonsa is one of the Four Lakes in the Madison chain of lakes. In addition to the lake, the park has prairie, marsh, and woodlands. There are about 5 miles of trails. Included in the hike will be a view of the lock and dam on the Yahara River, at the adjoining La Follette County Park.
We will leave from the Park Street Circle at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13th, hike for about 2 hours, and return to the the Park Street Circle by 9:00 p.m.
(The Park Street Circle is the end of Park Street, right next to the Memorial Union.)
