Pheasant Branch Conservancy contains Indian mounds, springs, and a number of plant communities. The plant communities include oak savanna, restored prairie, sedge meadow and shrub thicket, mixed woodland, marsh, oak woodland, and lowland forest. Pheasant Branch Conservany is about 8 miles from the Memorial Union.
We will leave from the Park Street Circle at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5th, hike for about 2 hours, and return to the the Park Street Circle by 9:00 p.m.
(The Park Street Circle is the end of Park Street, right next to the Memorial Union.)
