Weather permitting, I will lead a quietwater sea kayaking trip on the Wisconsin River from Prairie du Sac to Arena. Meet at the boat house/Park St. Circle at 9:00 to select gear and load boats. We will unload the boats in Prairie du Sac and then run a shuttle to the take out in Arena. If it is hot, we can swim/get wet as needed. Depending on participant interest, we may stop for food on the way home.
Rain date: If I need to cancel due to weather, I'll lead the trip on Sunday the 23rd
Recommended personal gear:
*water
*hat
*sunglasses
*glasses strap, if needed
*sunscreen
*shoes suitable for kayaking (no flip flops; no laces that might get caught in your boat)
*lunch
*change of clothes and towel
*plastic bag for wet clothes
COST: $7.00 ($2.00 for boat maintenance fund + $5.00 for gas for the drivers)
