Event Information
- Description
- Winds permitting, leave the oppressive bustle of the city, and canoe or kayak over Lake Mendota in the waning light to the forests of picnic point, swap stories for a while, then return over the shimmering dark waters to the lights and music at the union. You will need the canoe lake rating, and a flashlight for the boat if canoeing, or two flashlights and a headlamp and a SK0 to kayak. Normally we can't take the boats out after dark, but by approval of water safety, we can do this well-lighted boats event.
