- So you've spun yourself in circles in the Outing Club whitewater boats during the kayak lake lesson, so now's your chance to cruise on lake! The SK0 lesson is your introduction to our sea kayaking fleet and will allow you to check them out on the Lake Mendota. This also opens the doorway to touring Wisconsin's plethora of lakes, rivers and even the Great Lakes! Beyond learning about the boats themselves, the lesson will focus on refining your forward stroke and teach you how to get back in your kayak with the help of a friend! Be prepared to get wet and have a swimsuit, water shoes, and a change of clothes. See you at the boathouse!
