Event Information

Description
Let’s try again! I’ll be teaching an SK0 class this Saturday June 13th at 10:00 at the boathouse.   To take this class, you must have passed the swim test and also have taken the Lake Lesson in a white water boat, either in the pool or the lake.   The SK0 class builds on your skills you learned in those lessons.  We will learn things like the forward stroke, sweep turn, and the very important T Rescue.  We will also talk more about boat design so you can learn to find your favorite boat!   For this class, you will need:   Water Bottle. Dry Clothes to change into after.  (you will get wet and swim!) A baseball style hat is nice. Water appropriate clothes and shoes. Sun Screen and sun glasses.   At the end of the class, I will point you to the classes or trips you can do to advance your rating to SK1.   The classes offered in our club are a great opportunity to learn wonderful life long skills.  Come, sign up on line and have some fun!
