We'll paddle Lake Mendota this evening. The trip is open to any Hoofer Outing Club member with a canoe lake rating. There will be a little more wind this evening than on Tuesday, but we'll take that into account as we decide exactly where to paddle. Sorry - there won't be a full moon tonight, but we may get another gorgeous sunset.
Meet at the Union Boathouse at 7:15. Grab a PFD and a paddle, and we'll all get the canoes down and out to the dock. Well be back at the union and have the boats put away by 9:30 pm. If another QW or higher leader signs up, I'll open up more spaces for paddlers.
PLEASE bring a headlamp of flashlight as each vessel must have a light, and I only have so many spares. Aslo, if you have something to share like chips or cookies or whatever, bring them along!
For those who want to socialize after we paddle, we'll get a table at the Terrace and have beverages and food.
For new club members, I'll answer any questions you have about how things in the club work/are organized.
