- Description
- On Wednesday evening (6/3), I will lead an introductory whitewater trip to the Baraboo River, through downtown Baraboo, WI ( http://www.americanwhitewater.org/content/River/detail/id/2887/ ). To participate, you must have completed your Kayak Lake Lesson (lake rating) and Swim Test, and signup online. This is an R1-qualifying trip. More experienced paddlers are encouraged to participate. Meet at Park St. Circle/Memorial Union Boathouse at 4:30PM to select Club gear (boat, paddle, spray skirt, helmet, PFD, air bladders, paddle jacket/wetsuit). You will need to bring a swimsuit, towel, change of dry clothes, river booties or shoes without laces, $6 to pay your driver for gas (if riding as a passenger), and extra money for dinner at Culvers afterward. We'll aim to be back in Madison by 11PM.
