Event Information

Description
There's an almost full moon rising over Madison at 7:30 pm Monday night. We'll meet at the boathouse and get canoes and paddles and PFDs. Hopefully we'll launch by 7 pm and be away from the union by the time the moon is visible behind the skyline. We will paddle around a bit under the full moon and then return to the union.

You must have a canoe lake rating and have passed the swim test to participate. BRING A HEADLAMP OR FLASHLIGHT to meet WI state law regarding boating at night. We will be paddling the club's tandem canoes.

Bring a jacket in case the temp drops some while we are out, or there is a breeze. Consider bringing a snack to share.

Bood (beverages and food) at the union afterwards is always an option!
