Paddle, Portage, Paddle, Party!
It's time for the annual Paddle & Portage race :) I'd love to get a couple Hoofer teams together to paddle around our favorite Madison lakes and represent the Hoofer spirit!
The race starts at James Madison Park with 1.5 mile paddle on Mendota, then racers portage past the capitol square and farmers' market goes, then ends with a 1.5 mile paddle to Olin Park.
We missed the early-bird registration, so tickets are $45. Let me know if you're interested in putting together a couple teams. For more info, the event page is http://www.paddleandportage.com/index.php
