The weather is getting warmer and it's time to hit the
trails! We will be heading north right after finals (evening Friday 15th until
Tuesday or Wednesday) to either the Porkies or SHT and enjoy the falls, lakes,
ridgelines, and blooms of the Superior shore.
This is also a great opportunity to learn more about trip leadership in
the club, so be prepared to learn and/or instruct!
We will plan to hike 8-10 miles a day, so be prepared to cover some distance with a loaded pack. You will also need to have hiking boots, layers, rain gear, and a sleeping bag. The cost of the trip will be approximately $80 depending on car space and number of hikers.
If you haven't already contacted me about interest in the trip, please do so ASAP as there is limited space. We can almost always use more drivers, so if you have a car available let me know and I can likely open up more spots!
I will be collecting trip deposits of $40 before or at the next meeting on Tuesday April 21st, so plan to attend or let me know so we can make other arrangements to meet! - Event Type
