Event Information
- Description
- Lets get out in some wide open space before it gets really cold. Meet 5PM across from the outdoor UW office by the lakefront, and then we will get club snowshoes and poles (or bring your own) and head out to view an ice hut we saw under construction on Sunday. The snow may be thin in spots, but the club snowshoes will grab the thick ice underneath nicely. This is a short trip at a mild pace, good for learning snowshoeing if you haven't tried it yet. I plan to head back in time for the reunion trip planning meeting at 6PM, but perhaps others could come in at 6:45 at the end of that meeting. Dress for 15 mph wind!
