- Description
- On Saturday (2/14) I will lead an intermediate level classic style cross country ski trip to Gov. Dodge State Park. We will meet at Park St. Circle at 9:00 am to gather gear, then carpool to the park which is about 75 min away, ski til mid afternoon, and have an early dinner at he Grumpy Troll on the way back to Madison. Space in his trip will be limited by car space. Participants should be comfortable using classic cross country skis to traverse hilly terrain on poorly groomed trails for a distance of 10-15 miles. Bring lunch, snack food, at least 1l of water, an extra pair of warm socks, and come dressed appropriately for he weather conditions. You should also bring $7 to pay your driver for gas, plus some extra money for dinner..
