Haven't gotten out to XC ski yet this year? No problem! I'll be heading out to Token Creek, just on the north side of Lake Mendota, to hit the trails on Sunday afternoon. These trails are well-groomed and perfect for beginners or those wanting a leisurely afternoon of skiing. I have room for 3, but please let me know if you can drive people and I will open up the event for more.
You will need warm, synthetic or wool clothing as well as extras in case you get wet. Dress in layers so you can dress down if you get too hot. You will probably want something to eat and drink as well. Also, please bring $2 for gas and money for a trail pass if you don't already have one. It is $7 for the day and $30 for the season.
