- Description
- After the Tuesday night meeting, we'll head to Quarry Park ( a very hilly park here in Madison - behind Whole Foods on University Ave) to do a little strenuous snowshoeing. This is a beginner-friendly trip. Quarry Park is a great place to learn how to deal with hills - uphill and downhill. When we're done, we'll get hot chocolate at a cafe before heading back to the union. I have room for three in my car. If another driver signs up (or e-mails to say they can drive and take passengers), I'll increase the sign up. Dress in layers - you'll get warm once we start snowshoeing. Connie
