- With all this snow I'm itching to get out skiing, so if anyone wants to join I'm planning on heading out to Blue Mound State Park on Thursday afternoon. There is gorgeous skiing to be had only 30 min from Madison for beginners to advanced skiers along with classic and skate tracks. I can be a bit flexible with the start time if you let me know ahead of time. All you'll need for the trip is warm clothes, some money for a trail pass ($25 for yearly or $4 for day) and gas (a few dollars)!
