- Hey guys i just tried a cool new sport (new for me) called Under Water Hockey. I know alot of you are water babies like myself, so come give it a try. The event takes place at the Mc Farland high school pool which is a 20mins drive from the center of town (madison). Check out the wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underwater_hockey for info and decide if it is something you would like to do. Items you will need are a pair of fins and snorkel mask/snorkel. the hockey sticks are provided as is the rest of the items needed. if your not sure you can talk to me after i have been to my second night on Tuesday night at the meeting 2/3/2015. The cost is usually $8 for the pool (pay the guy at the pool)and $3 for gas (pay the driver). They need at least 10 people each week to be able to run the event not sure how many they can have, i will find out.
