Hey Hoofs that are in town:
The Shell at Camp Randall has open ice skating hours this Saturday from 7-8:30 pm. Admission and skate rental are very reasonably priced.

Meet at the Shell about 6:50 pm and we'll skate until they close, then head to a nearby cafe (for hot chocolate) or pub (for adult beverages), depending on people's interests. Cost will be $7 or less for skating ($5 for students with UW ID and skate rental, $3 if you own your own skates, $7 for the general public with skate rental), plus money for refreshments.
This trip won't be stopped by cold or wind!
