How about a little informal gathering during these cold, dark times to share some memories of past trips and look ahead to trips in the new year? As a substitute for a Tuesday meeting (none scheduled during the break), I'm leading an arduous trip down into the depths of the City Bar, 636 State Street, for a little Hoofers holiday/new year socializing. All are welcome---no skill ratings required.
Date and time: January 6 from 7-9 pm.
No need to sign up, although you are welcome to do so. Kind of nice to see who might be coming and how big (or small?) the group may be.
Lots to look forward to in the new year---Delta Lodge(!!!), Tele Nights, local x-country skiing and snowshoeing, Canoecopia, pool sessions, indoor climbing, and spring break trips are just a sample of opportunities over the first few months of 2015. And it's not too early to thinking about and planning some spring and summer trips.
