I need help building racks for our whitewater boats! This involves measuring, cutting, and fastening a bunch of 2x4s. If you offered to bring tools, please do! (rubber mallets, power drills (battery-powered preferred- there are not many outlets in the room and none close to the workspace)). No expertise needed. Expect to do a lot of lifting, bending, and carrying.
We will have pizza around 6:30 pm.
If you can't make the whole event, you could show up for "early shift + pizza" (4:30 til food time) or "pizza + late shift" (food time thru clean-up). Let me know if you plan to come for pizza+late shift so I can account for you in our order.
Thank you for helping out with this project! Everything in the Outing Club is accomplished by volunteers, and Hoofers will use these racks for years to come.
EDIT: We will meet in the Hoofer Boathouse in Memorial Union.
