Hello ladies/gentlemen/anyone who does not conform to our
socially constructed gender binary-
It’s getting real cold out. At some point, it’s gonna get real snow out. When that happens, its gonna get real skiing.
At this Hoofer meeting, I am going to talk about the following:
-Cross Country Ski Trips! How to lead them and how to go on them
-Ski Gear! What you need to succeed (warm stuff). And what we have for you (everything else)!
-Delta Lodge! I’ll make the plug, but we need a leader for that. I can literally hand you a stack of “How to Lead Delta Lodge” info, and you can email your way to effective trip leadership.
I know that this is a busy night because midterms/life/impending turkey consumption/preparation for trampling the masses at WalMart to buy TVs, but I’ll make it informative and worth your while.
Note: I’m about to talk about Cross Country Skiing. That is the kind that’s either like 1) ice skating but on skis or 2) the slidey back and forth thing. We also do teleskiing, which is kind of like downhill skiing except your heel is unattached and you kneel around turns (maybe. At least that my understanding). Hoofer Outing doesn’t do downhill (self-explanatory term) trips, but our friends at Hoofer Ski and Snowboard do, so check those guys out for your downhill needs.
