Event Information

Description
Note added 11/4/14, about 6 pm
Hikers: As of Tuesday evening, the weather forecast for Wednesday evening is not looking promising - complete cloud coverage and rain, according to NOAA. Please check back here (Wednesday) at noon, and I will post whether we go hiking Wednesday night, or change to Friday, 11/7, when the forecast looks clear.  Connie

We'll hike the newest segment of the Ice Age National Trail by the light of a November full moon ( O ). Wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes, bring a headlamp or flashlight, and a mug and spoon if you want a post-hike hot chocolate. Cost will be $1 for non-drivers.

We'll meet at the parking circle located at the southeast corner of Union South at 7 pm. We'll load up, drive to the site and hike a 1.8 mile loop of brand-spanking new trail.  If there's sufficient interest, I'll fire up a stove and make hot chocolate before we return to Madison.

Please let em know if you can drive, but for some reason are unable to sign up. If there's plenty of car space, there is no reason we cannot take more people.

Finally, if the weather is uncooperatve Wednesday night, we'll have a cloud/rain date of Friday, Nov. 7.

Please answer the questions below to help me plan our hike.
