Come and work on club bikes or bring your own bike to work on. No need to show up right at 6 or stay until 8. Don't know much about working on bikes? Great! We can teach you. You'll save money and also gain the satisfaction of understanding and fixing your own bike. We'll meet at the University Bicycle Resource Center under College Library which has a good set of tools.
A couple people have pointed out the need for more hybrid/touring bikes in the club, so we'll be building two of these from the ground up this winter using components the club has lying around along with some parts in my basement I've been looking to get rid of. In addition to being a great learning experience for anyone willing to help out, these bikes will be great for shorter/casual rides as well as overnight trips to Devil's Lake and Blue Mound State Park.
