This lesson is your first step to becoming an outing club voyageur! We
will check out all of our awesome canoeing gear, talk about hoofers boating policies, and get out on the water to work on basic skills.
After you take this class you will be able to take canoes out on the
lake with a friend and join epic Outing Club adventures on Wisconsin
lakes and rivers. While we won't plan on jumping in the water, do bring
a change of clothes just in case. (You'll definitely need warm swimming-appropriate clothes and a towel if you plan on taking the swim test.)
Come ready with questions and get excited for paddling season. See you at the Hoofer boathouse!
