Would you like to combine a field trip to geologically interesting places with photography?
PhotoMidwest, the center for photography at Madison is organizing a scenery and cave photoshooting class as part of the Photomidwest festival this weekend (http://www.photomidwest.org/festival). Hoofers are allowed to attend this class at a discount ticket of $65 or $80 if you want to purchase a 1-year Photomidwest membership and join Madison's photography community (quick note that 1-year student membership costs $36).
This ticket includes:- photography trip to Malcomb Stack Foundation (famous for its wildlife and geology) http://www.stackfoundation.org/
- photography class at Cave of the Mounds during a private tour where flashes and tripods are allowed (yes!!)
- admission to the cave (quick note that an adult's ticket costs about $17 and the tour lasts only 1h)
- possible all-day transportation (provided there are at least 5 participants)
