Let's go for a day hike! This will be a trip to hike the beautiful trails (including a segment of the Ice Age Trail) of Indian Lake county park, about 30 minutes north-west of Madison. The park has several miles of trail through wooded hills and around a scenic lake. We'll leave Madison in the morning, eat lunch in the park, and head home in the early evening.
Please bring:
1. Hiking appropriate clothes (preferably not cotton...) and shoes
2. 1+ liter of water (there is no water available at the park)
3. Something to eat for lunch and/or any snacks you'd like to have
4. A daypack to carry the above in.
I'll open the trip to more people if more drivers volunteer -- send me an email if you're willing!
